Professor Fittipaldi 101
Without question, Professor Fittipaldi brings a marketing toolkit that just can’t be matched by many other professionals. Her educational background includes a BFA from Kent State University, MBA from University of Michigan, and Ed. D. from the University of St. Thomas. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, here’s a snapshot of Professor Fittipaldi’s professional background:
- General Mills – Brand Management
- BBDO – Advertising Account Management
- MRM, McCann Worldgroup – Advertising Account Management
- Campbell Mithun – Advertising Account Management
- University of Minnesota – Adjunct Professor
- University of St. Thomas – Adjunct Professor
We know, we’re pretty amazed too. How perfect, then, that Professor Fittipaldi teaches Marketing Management and Strategic Integrated Marketing Communications for the St. Kate’s MBA program.
Who is she, really?
We asked Professor Fittipaldi a series of questions to figure out who she is as a “real human being” outside of the classroom. Here’s what she had to say:
What’s the most important thing you hope your MBA students walk away with after graduation?
The importance of consumer-centric marketing (outside in) for the long term success of any organization
How many cups of coffee do you drink per day?
I cannot get out of bed without knowing the coffee is hot and waiting for me, so my coffee maker is on a timer. I typically have only one cup of coffee a day in the morning and I always do the crossword puzzle while drinking my coffee. I can’t leave the house without doing both.
What is something – outside of education – that you are extremely passionate about?
I rent garden plots in a variety of locations across the Twin Cities and spend the entire summer growing vegetables. I donate my surplus harvest to local food shelves, which often struggle to supply fresh produce to their customers.
